The island of Lefkas (Λευκάδα in greek, ancient Leukas; Italian Santa Maura) is wonderfully located next to the mainland Greece. The island is mainly occupied by green hills while its western coast is principally lined with sheer, bright-coloured rocks, giving the island its name: Lefkata – the white.

The largest sailing yacht base in the Ionian is located on the island providing countless opportunities to explore the Ionian sea. Lefkas is ideal for both sailing to the famous Corfu island, the magical Paxos and Antipaxos islands and idyllic Sivota area in mainland. Also, the so-called “small Ionian” is only a few nautical miles away from Lefkas; this cluster of islands includes the island of Meganisi, the cosmopolitan island of Scorpios, the historical Ithaka, the amazing island of Cephalonia and lots of small inhabited and uninhabited islands.

Our base at Lefkas is easily accessible by car by the National Road or via an airplane through Aktion (Preveza) Airport.

Sailing in the Ionian is considered ideal for relaxing sailing vacation for families; especially the “small Ionian” is considered an excellent destination for happy sailing due to the gentle and peaceful winds, the short sailing distances and the existence of lots of moorings and berths.
